La mise en bouteille (bottling) is the final stage in the wine making process. It comprises a set of steps, like sterilising the bottle, adding nitrogen to it, filling the right quantity of wine, corking and labelling. Most of the bottles are tinted to prevent exposure to UV light which can damage the wine’s chemistry.
